We are looking forward to seeing you on the trail!
2. Read all the information below.
What to Expect: A leisurely walk of less than one mile on well-maintained trail, most of which is under forest canopy. There are comfortable restrooms available where the trail begins and ends.
How Difficult will it be? The walks are not strenuous at all. We cover a maximum of about 3/4 miles, often less, over a period of two to three hours, on easy trail.
Will we still walk if it is raining? The walk will still be on if it's raining, unless it is a really big downpour or violent storm. If it is raining it's important to have a waterproof shell including pants, and many people bring umbrellas also. Waterproof shoes are a good idea. Rain often enhances sensory experience and makes for some of our most memorable walks.
What should I bring? We suggest bringing a snack or light lunch and water bottle, or if the day is cold you might want to consider bringing a thermos with a hot drink.
What if I have to leave before the walk is finished? People do sometimes leave early, just let your guide know when you are leaving.
Time: Most walks are from 10am until 1:30pm unless otherwise noted. Please arrive 15 minutes early.
